We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Megan Rimmer has officially passed her apprenticeship, and not only that, she’s done it in incredible style:
🎓1 of just 20 in the country to achieve this qualification
🎓2 of 4 to pass first time on her tutor’s course
🎓Now a fully qualified Multi-Channel Marketer
From starting with us just a few hours on a Friday, to completing her apprenticeship, and now becoming a full-time Marketing Executive working across 5 businesses, Megan’s journey is nothing short of inspiring!
“It’s been an absolute privilege to mentor Megan through her apprenticeship and watch her growth, both personally and professionally. Supporting someone at the very start of their career and seeing them flourish into a confident, capable marketer has been one of the most rewarding parts of my role. We couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s achieved.” – Philippa Sherrell Communications Director
At such a young age (not that age matters!), Megan is already making a huge impact, and we’re so excited to see where her future takes her.
Well done Megan – this is so well deserved! 👏

We’re delighted to share that we have successfully passed our annual audit with the British Assessment Bureau for:
👉 ISO 9001 – Quality Management
👉 ISO 45001 – Health & Safety
👉 ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
This annual audit covered Recycle it Global Ltd and RIG Scorrier Ltd and for the first time, RIG Newquay Ltd was also brought into scope.
We’re proud to say that Newquay passed with flying colours, showing that the high standards we set from the very beginning are maintained as we continue to grow and bring new acquisitions into the RIG family.
Even more impressively, this marks our second consecutive year with zero minor or major non-conformities, a rare achievement and a testament to the strength of our compliance and processes.
For those unfamiliar, ISO certifications are internationally recognised standards that demonstrate a company’s commitment to quality, health & safety, and environmental management. They provide assurance to our customers, partners, and stakeholders that we operate responsibly, consistently, and to the very highest standards.
A huge thank you to our team for making this possible. This result reflects not only their hard work but also our ongoing commitment to excellence and sustainability in everything we do.
Great work, team!

Recycle it Global Acquires Chenoweth’s Trading Company (CTC), Strengthening Sustainable Waste Operations Across Cornwall and Devon
Recycle it Global (RIG) is proud to announce the acquisition of CTC Waste, a highly respected and long-established waste collection business operating throughout Cornwall and Devon. This strategic acquisition marks RIG’s fourth operational facility, joining our growing network alongside RIG Scorrier, RIG Plymouth, and RIG Newquay.
With deep roots in Cornwall and a legacy built on trust, customer service, and sustainability, CTC has earned a reputation as one of the region’s most dependable independent waste transfer stations. Their focus on holiday home and commercial waste collections aligns perfectly with Recycle it Global’s mission to protect natural resources and drive down landfill dependency.
A Shared Commitment to Sustainability
CTC’s core ethos, minimising landfill through tailored, reliable recycling and waste services echoes RIG’s own values. Their flexible and environmentally responsible service model, spanning general waste, recycling, and food waste collections, will remain unchanged and continue to meet the unique needs of their loyal customer base.
As part of this exciting transition, CTC will over time become RIG Roseland, honouring both its home on the Roseland Peninsula and its future role within RIG’s regional infrastructure. This rebrand represents not just a name change, but a renewed commitment to advancing sustainable waste solutions across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Expanding Regional Reach and Service Excellence
The integration of CTC expands RIG’s postcode coverage across Cornwall and into Devon, allowing us to serve a wider range of customers from coastal holiday homes to inland commercial operations. The existing CTC team will remain in place to ensure uninterrupted service and local knowledge, supported by RIG’s investment in technology, resource, training, and operational capacity.
“We’re passionate about building a circular economy that works for everyone—from holiday cottages to major infrastructure projects,” said Philippa Sherrell, Communications Director at RIG. “This acquisition helps us deliver on that ambition, expanding our reach while staying true to the principles that matter most to our customers.”
Paul Nicholls, CEO & Co-Founder of Recycle it Global, added:
“We’re proud to welcome the Chenoweth family’s legacy into Recycle it Global. Their long-standing commitment to the environment and local community is a perfect fit for our business. RIG Roseland will continue delivering the dependable service customers know and trust, with the added strength of RIG’s national vision and sustainable innovations.”
