HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO MEGAN! 🌟

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO MEGAN! 🌟

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Megan Rimmer has officially passed her apprenticeship, and not only that, she’s done it in incredible style:

🎓1 of just 20 in the country to achieve this qualification
🎓2 of 4 to pass first time on her tutor’s course
🎓Now a fully qualified Multi-Channel Marketer

From starting with us just a few hours on a Friday, to completing her apprenticeship, and now becoming a full-time Marketing Executive working across 5 businesses, Megan’s journey is nothing short of inspiring!

“It’s been an absolute privilege to mentor Megan through her apprenticeship and watch her growth, both personally and professionally. Supporting someone at the very start of their career and seeing them flourish into a confident, capable marketer has been one of the most rewarding parts of my role. We couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s achieved.” – Philippa Sherrell Communications Director

At such a young age (not that age matters!), Megan is already making a huge impact, and we’re so excited to see where her future takes her.

Well done Megan – this is so well deserved! 👏

Audit Success for RIG! 👏 ♻️

Audit Success for RIG! 👏 ♻️

We’re delighted to share that we have successfully passed our annual audit with the British Assessment Bureau for:

👉 ISO 9001 – Quality Management
👉 ISO 45001 – Health & Safety
👉 ISO 14001 – Environmental Management

This annual audit covered Recycle it Global Ltd and RIG Scorrier Ltd and for the first time, RIG Newquay Ltd was also brought into scope.

We’re proud to say that Newquay passed with flying colours, showing that the high standards we set from the very beginning are maintained as we continue to grow and bring new acquisitions into the RIG family.

Even more impressively, this marks our second consecutive year with zero minor or major non-conformities, a rare achievement and a testament to the strength of our compliance and processes.

For those unfamiliar, ISO certifications are internationally recognised standards that demonstrate a company’s commitment to quality, health & safety, and environmental management. They provide assurance to our customers, partners, and stakeholders that we operate responsibly, consistently, and to the very highest standards.

A huge thank you to our team for making this possible. This result reflects not only their hard work but also our ongoing commitment to excellence and sustainability in everything we do.

Great work, team!

Leadership Transition: Peter F. Wynter Bee Appointed Chairman of Recycle it Global

Leadership Transition: Peter F. Wynter Bee Appointed Chairman of Recycle it Global

As Recycle it Global continues to scale and evolve, we are announcing an important leadership transition that will further strengthen the direction and governance of our business.

Following the recent decision by Julian Chenoweth to step down as Chairman, our Board has acted swiftly and decisively to ensure continuity, clarity, and long-term strategic leadership. We are therefore pleased to confirm the appointment of Peter F. Wynter Bee as the new Chairman of Recycle it Global.

Peter joined our Board as a Non-Executive Director three months ago and since then, he has already made a substantial impact through his strategic insight, commercial acumen, and ability to navigate complex global markets. His appointment to Chairman is a natural evolution that brings strength, stability, and a wealth of experience to the helm of our governance structure.

Peter has built a distinguished career at the highest levels of corporate leadership, particularly within the natural resources and sustainability sectors. His previous and current roles include:

  • Founder, Executive & Chairman – Moxico Resources Plc (2013–2024)
Peter played a leading role in establishing and scaling one of the most significant copper producers operating in Africa, delivering major infrastructure and mining projects.
  • Chairman – Kavango Resources Plc
Actively guiding the development of strategic mineral resources key to global clean energy supply chains.
  • Executive Director – ZincOx Resources Ltd (1997–2011)
Specialising in the recycling of Electric Arc Furnace Dust (EAFD), Peter led one of the most innovative waste-to-resource businesses in the industrial metals sector.
  • Director – Euro Axle Systems Ltd
Supporting the production of lightweight aluminium axle systems that contribute to decarbonised logistics.
  • Governor – The Gordon Foundation & School Academy Trust (20 years)
Reflecting his long-standing commitment to responsible leadership, education, and community engagement.
  • General Counsel – KPMG LLP (UK) & Reunion Mining Plc
Reinforcing his deep understanding of governance, compliance, and corporate ethics.

In addition to his extensive leadership and boardroom experience, Peter is a fully qualified and licenced lawyer, having trained and practised law at a senior level. His legal background brings a sharp understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management, and corporate governance all of which are critical as RIG continues to expand into new markets and maintain high standards of compliance and integrity across its operations.

His combination of operational leadership, governance experience, and sustainability-focused innovation makes him exceptionally well-placed to guide RIG through its next stage of growth.

“Peter’s strategic vision and deep industry knowledge align perfectly with the values and ambitions of Recycle it Global,” said Paul Nicholls, CEO and Co-Founder.
“Oscar and I are both confident in Peter’s ability to support our executive team, challenge our thinking, and add real value as we continue to scale responsibly and sustainably.”

Peter F. Wynter Bee shared:

“It is a privilege to assume the role of Chairman at such an important time for Recycle it Global. This is a business with purpose, momentum, and a bold vision for sustainable transformation. I look forward to supporting the leadership team as RIG continues to grow its impact and influence in the sector.”

As founders, we want to express our gratitude to Jules for his contribution during a formative chapter in our business. His support has helped shape the platform from which we now build.

This leadership change is not a step back, but a decisive step forward.

We welcome Peter into this new role and look forward to working closely with him as we advance our mission to lead innovation and sustainability across the waste and aggregate industries.

Recycle it Global Acquires Chenoweth’s Trading Company (CTC), Strengthening Sustainable Waste Operations Across Cornwall and Devon

Recycle it Global (RIG) is proud to announce the acquisition of CTC Waste, a highly respected and long-established waste collection business operating throughout Cornwall and Devon. This strategic acquisition marks RIG’s fourth operational facility, joining our growing network alongside RIG Scorrier, RIG Plymouth, and RIG Newquay.

With deep roots in Cornwall and a legacy built on trust, customer service, and sustainability, CTC has earned a reputation as one of the region’s most dependable independent waste transfer stations. Their focus on holiday home and commercial waste collections aligns perfectly with Recycle it Global’s mission to protect natural resources and drive down landfill dependency.

A Shared Commitment to Sustainability

CTC’s core ethos, minimising landfill through tailored, reliable recycling and waste services echoes RIG’s own values. Their flexible and environmentally responsible service model, spanning general waste, recycling, and food waste collections, will remain unchanged and continue to meet the unique needs of their loyal customer base.

As part of this exciting transition, CTC will over time become RIG Roseland, honouring both its home on the Roseland Peninsula and its future role within RIG’s regional infrastructure. This rebrand represents not just a name change, but a renewed commitment to advancing sustainable waste solutions across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Expanding Regional Reach and Service Excellence

The integration of CTC expands RIG’s postcode coverage across Cornwall and into Devon, allowing us to serve a wider range of customers from coastal holiday homes to inland commercial operations. The existing CTC team will remain in place to ensure uninterrupted service and local knowledge, supported by RIG’s investment in technology, resource, training, and operational capacity.

“We’re passionate about building a circular economy that works for everyone—from holiday cottages to major infrastructure projects,” said Philippa Sherrell, Communications Director at RIG. “This acquisition helps us deliver on that ambition, expanding our reach while staying true to the principles that matter most to our customers.”

Paul Nicholls, CEO & Co-Founder of Recycle it Global, added:
“We’re proud to welcome the Chenoweth family’s legacy into Recycle it Global. Their long-standing commitment to the environment and local community is a perfect fit for our business. RIG Roseland will continue delivering the dependable service customers know and trust, with the added strength of RIG’s national vision and sustainable innovations.”
