We are pleased to announce that Grant Nicholson has been promoted to Operations Director at Recycle it Global.
Grant joined RIG in May 2024 as Wash Plant Supervisor, where he immediately demonstrated exceptional technical understanding, commitment, and leadership. Within just a few months, Grant stepped up into the Site Manager role, guiding operational performance and supporting the growth of our flagship facility, RIG Scorrier.
In January 2025, Grant progressed to Operations Manager, working closely with Dan Fisher (Operations Director at the time), strengthening operational integration across RIG Scorrier, RIG Newquay, RIG Plymouth and RIG Roseland. Following Dan’s recent promotion to Managing Director, we are delighted to see Grant continue his development by taking on the role of Operations Director.
Grant not only understands the mechanical and operational intricacies of our business; he is a trusted leader to one of the largest teams within the company. His approach is grounded, hands-on, and aligned with our values—empowering the incredible men and women who keep our sites running safely, efficiently, and sustainably every day.
